Fund Raiser for Devon Air Ambulance

CHARITY EVENT IN AID OF THE DEVON AIR AMBULANCE.
CLYST HYDON VILLAGE HALL FRIDAY 21st APRIL 7.30
Nearly every day we hear the familiar hum of the air ambulance flying over our farm heading out mostly to the M5 to help people on distress.
Last year my lifelong friends brother suffered severe injuries whilst he was working on his own in a field at Talaton. Many of you will probably know Brian who works with his son at BD motors at Talewater.
The helicopter was there in a flash to whisk him down to Derriford where surgeons were waiting to see to his injuries and spent hours trying to save his foot.
Miraculously he is now able to walk, drive and is back at work in the garage.
As a thank you for saving his life he would like to raise some funds for the organisation.
To help him along with this I have engaged a gentleman from Bridport called STOMPIN DAVE to entertain us.
Usually playing in a four piece band and too expensive for us to entertain he is willing to do a one man show.
Living up to the name whilst playing numerous instruments he tap dances which is mesmerising. He is a true entertainer.
Lucky for us he will play for as long as we want him to.
To make max money for the cause we are providing the entertainment and supper at £10 pp , running a bar and of course a raffle.
So please come along in support of Brian to this event as one never knows when in the future you may need the services of the DAA.
