A fusion of Science and Art

Published: 20 December 2021

Dear all, I had a chat this morning with Exeter Science centre, they are doing some great work and are collecting submissions for their climate themed pop up to be held in March 2022. This is such a great project fusing science and art and aiming to build community engagement. They hope to use science to stimulate an interest in the climatic and ecological emergency. They are keen for submissions to their online gallery and each month there is a theme. Can you share this with your networks maybe using your social media or newsletters? I think this is something that people would like to be involved with especially those with an interest in the environment and photography or creative arts.

Exeter Science Centre needs you! In the lead up to their climate-themed pop-up at Maketank in March 2022, Exeter Science Centre have launched a set of monthly online Climate Stories exhibitions to gather images/sounds/videos from the public on various themes:
- November: Your climate stories
- December: Your vision of a positive future
- January: Resolutions for change
- February: What makes Earth special?

Get creat
ive! Send in your drawings, paintings, photos, poems, sounds and videos! You can submit to any of the open galleries, and they are looking for entries from people of all ages. As well as being included in the online gallery, winning entries from each month will be featured in a special exhibit in their pop-up.
