Rosemary Glanville

Rosemary Glanville was awarded the Freedom of the Parish by Talaton Parish Council in recognition of her sterling service to the community, in delivering the Talaton Calendar to every household, every month for 40 years.

The award was presented to Rosemary in a small (and socially distanced!) ceremony outside the shop by Cllr Trish Lenehan. Simon Spencer, editor of the Talaton Calendar presented Rosemary with a cheque representing donations from villagers, local organisations, and the Calendar itself. Simon thanked Rosemary for doing such an amazing job over so many years and in all weathers! The Calendar is now being delivered by a team of 9 volunteers.

Well done Rosemary, you have certainly earned a rest!
